Students from the specialization Engineering and Environment Protection in Industry perform practice activities in specialized units in Constanta, different economical agents in the port area and in special laboratories in the university.

The practice subjects concern some main aspects related to machines and methods for monitoring environment factors, laboratory analysis, sites’ protection, voluntary work accompanying the inspectors from Constanta Environment Guard.

Students’ practice for the specialization “Economics Engineering”, Navigation Faculty, is organized for 3 weeks, at the end of the session. Students perform this practice in trading companies with maritime, railway, road, air and river transport activity and port operations.

During practice activity students must fulfill the following tasks: identification of a trading company, status and contract; knowledge of shareholders’ structure, management pyramid and company’s flow chart; activity, production tasks (services); business number, main information in the balance sheet; company’s business plan; marketing plan; incomes budget and expenses for the present year; business development strategies (company’s). 

Another important component for practice resides in taking part in different activities where students must get information about the job description, tasks, rights and obligations of employees, etc.

 During this period every student must fill in a practice notebook with all the information related to the company and practice ends with a colloquy where the student must present the company’s situation and his own activity in the company.
