Constanta Maritime University (CMU) Specialization Electrical engineers prepare for full time and part time learning forms of education, in line with national standards developed by the Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sports (MECTS) and international standards developed by International Maritime Organisation (IMO ).

All graduates of specialization to obtain access to sea or inland waterway Patent Officer, recognized worldwide patent.

At the end of university graduates can obtain dual certification license:
- His degree, academic title: Bachelor
- Patent maritime officer power (obtained from the patent exam from Romanian Naval Authority (NRA)
