Situated in Constanţa, No. 6 Timonei Alley, it has a total accommodation capacity of 278 lodgings (90 rooms x 3 lodgings/room and 4 flats x 2 lodgings/flat).

The accommodation units are structured and equipped according to the latest standards: bathrooms for each accommodation unit and furniture, bed mattresses and sheets acquired in 2008.

During May 2007 – January 2008 there were executed capital repair works in this location which included the reorganization of the old existing spaces taking into account the allocation on each level of some spaces serving as kitchens, mess halls, laundries and reading rooms.

These new created spaces are endowed with new equipment, according to their specific destination:
- kitchens: furniture, refrigerators, cookers, chimney hoods, ovens.
- mess halls: furniture, tableware.
- laundries: washing machines, dryers, iron tables and iron machines;
- reading rooms: furniture and informatics equipment.

The hostel is endowed with a fire alarm system and video surveillance. The activity of the students’ hostels is controlled by the REGULATION regarding the organization and the functioning of students’ hostels in the Constanta Maritime University. Accommodation is granted according to an Individual Renting Contract and it is mainly conditioned by the students’ educational performances and their social status.

During holidays, students may benefit from accommodation in these hostels if they prove they are employed and the hostel fees are unsubsidized. During summers, the students’ hostels may be used as hotels, for the accommodation of students from other universities, during their training period, as well as for the accommodation of guests and participants in different events organized by Constanta Maritime University.
